Chukwuemeka “EZ” Ezeoke, MD, FACG

Gastroenterologist / Executive Officer

Dr. Ezeoke was born in Nigeria and first trained as an industrial engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. He worked for Johnson Controls as a project engineer, and went on to serve as a medical officer in the United States Navy/Joint Marine Expeditionary Corps Command, retiring as a Lieutenant-Commander.

He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia (Augusta, GA), completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University (St. Louis, Missouri), and pursued a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Ezeoke was a staff gastroenterologist for Hendrick Medical Center-South Campus for seven years before transitioning to his private practice at KEVIMD Digestive Diseases & Wellness Center.

Dr. Ezeoke is married with children. His greatest passion in medicine is listening to patients and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and excellence. His hobbies include: fitness and outdoors, and community volunteering.

Crystal Valenzuela

Practice Manager

Crystal was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. Over the past 15 years, she has gained invaluable experience across the insurance, legal, and medical fields. She joined Dr. Ezeoke’s team in 2019 as a clinic coordinator and has since earned her certification as a medical office manager (CMOM).

She is committed to compassionate patient care and strongly believes in giving every patient the opportunity to share their story. Outside of work, Crystal enjoys reading, puzzles, and traveling with her husband and children.

Priscilla Hill

Clinical Care Coordinator

Priscilla has dedicated more than 15 years to serving the Abilene community and surrounding areas. She began her medical career in blood banking at Meek Blood Center, then transitioned into oncology scheduling before moving into gastroenterology as a new patient representative.

She has since expanded into the clinical side of gastroenterology, where she continues to grow her skills and knowledge. Priscilla is passionate about ensuring that every patient and family receives the highest level of care and support throughout their healthcare journey

Gayla Holder

Chief Medical Assistant

Gayla is a lifelong resident of Abilene, Texas. She holds an associate degree in applied science from Cisco College and is a certified medical assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).

She has worked with Dr. Ezeoke since he began his practice in Abilene in 2018. Gayla currently oversees front office operations, including scheduling appointments, patient check-in/out, and administrative support.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and scrapbooking.
